Delivery & Returns Despatch of Goods

Despatch of your goods will occur only after satisfactory authorisation of payment. 

Delivery is free on all UK mainland orders . Our standard delivery charge is usually £4.99

Orders for Ireland, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Scottish Higlands and Islands, will incur an additional surcharge.

Delivery of Goods Our goods are normally despatched within 2-10 days from receipt of your order, excluding hand-made items. Please note any individual delivery times stated for your item/s. If your order takes any longer than the product states please contact us.

Please call for availability before ordering if you have already booked an electrician to fit your lights. All deliveries will be sent by courier, excluding deliveries direct from manufacturers.

Deliveries exclude Saturday and Sunday and any UK Public Holiday, timed deliveries will commence during the next possible working day. A signature will be required to acknowledge delivery. The signature of the person accepting delivery at the delivery address will be proof that you have received the delivery.

Claims for damages and or shortages have to be made within 48 hours of receipt of your delivery. Any claims for damages and or shortages made after 48 hours of your delivery arriving will be refused.

The time and date of your delivery is recorded with our carriers. Please keep all the packaging from your delivery in a safe and dry place, just in case you need to return any part of your order to us.

Your Details

a. When you register with the RF web site, you will be required to choose a contact email address and password. You are responsible for all sessions and transactions taken under these details. You should keep your password safe and not disclose it to anyone. You should change it immediately if you feel it has been compromised. b. If any of your details change, such as your credit card billing address, you must inform RF as soon as possible. You may update your details by signing into your account on the RF web site, and update the relevant section. c. Where a legal age classification for an item is displayed, by submitting an order for said item, you will be confirming that you are of the legal age to view said product.

Returns & Refund Policy

Your satisfaction is our first priority. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you can return it yourself within 14 days of receipt for a full refund., as long as it arrives to us in a saleable condition, unused, in the original condition and packaging or box.

All damages must be reported within 48 hours of receipt If you prefer, you can request us to collect from you by courier, the cost of which will be deducted from your refund.

This provision does not affect your statutory rights (relating to faulty or misdescribed goods or your right to cancel orders under the consumer Protection (Distance Selling) regulations, further details of which are available from your local Trading Standards Department or Citizens Advice Bureau.

To return an item for a refund, please use a reputable Delivery service. To return goods for any reason please E-mail our customer services department (info@chrissline.co.uk),  who will give you instructions relating to the purpose of the return to be displayed on the parcel.

Please Note: Goods returned must be returned in the original condition and packaging.

Goods returned are at the expense of the consumer by registered means. Products requiring a replacement due to a fault will be returned to the consumer at the cost of RF Shopping, as long as they conform to our faulty goods policy.

Faulty Goods

If the goods are found to be faulty within the warranty period, and require a replacement or part of, please email us or write to us immediately so we can contact the manufacturer to make suitable arrangements. The manufacturer may wish to test your product to confirm the item is faulty, and should this be the case a replacement item will be sent to you promptly. In the event of free goods with any order being faulty. We are unable to offer a refund, exchange or return.

Lamp life may vary depending on your electricity supply, areas of high fluctuation could considerably affect the life of your lamp. All our products are quality checked by hand for breakages and marked accordingly, as a rule we do not test products however if we do they will be clearly marked.

Cancellation

If, for any reason other than a breakage you are unhappy with the item/s you have ordered you have the right to cancel within 14 days of receipt of your order, by writing, or emailing us on info@chrissline.co.uk. With cancellations, the cost of the collection (if made by our courier) will be deducted from your refund. If you wish to cancel before the items are despatched, you are asked to contact us by e-mail as soon as practicably possible. If however your cancellation is received after the items have been despatched please return the item/s as detailed in our returns section.

Distance Selling Regulations

If the Customer is buying as a consumer, as defined in The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, the Goods may be returned within 7 working days (excluding Saturday and Sunday and any UK Bank Holiday) of delivery for a full refund. RF Shopping has extended this period to 14 days to improve our customer service. This may be withdawn at any time. To cancel an order, the Customer must notify RF Shopping in writing or by email within the 14 day period and return the goods to Customer Services Department RF Shopping, 473 King Street, Longton, Stoke on Trent, ST3 1EU. Please quote your order number on the box. RF Shopping will refund to the Customer the invoice value of the Goods. The Customer shall be liable for the postage costs to return the goods to RF Shopping (Goods should be returned with proof of delivery). The Customer must take reasonable care of the Goods and return them in their original packaging in a saleable condition.

Distance Selling Exclusions

There are some products within our collection of lighting that are made upon order from the image displayed to the customer on the website, such as the examples below. We attempt to mark such products as clearly as possible at all times, and class these products as "made to the customer’s own specification" according to the allowed exclusions within the Distance Selling Regulations.

• Handmade (ie: Painted ceramics or pottery)

• A Variation (ie: An alteration specified by the customer to the displayed product) • Made to order (Typically crystal chandeliers and period lighting) These items are not covered under the Distance Selling Regulations. With this in mind, RF Shopping reserve the right to refuse cancellation of items within this scope.

The Contract Between Us

a. Any contract for purchases made through the web site will be with RF b. RF must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted, and the contract formed. Payment is not taken until the point of despatch of the goods to you from our premises Once payment has been received RF will confirm that your order has been received by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your registration form. The shipment email will include your name, the order number and the total price. RF acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us on these terms. Any term sought to be imposed by you in your order will not form part of the contract. c. RF are entitled to withdraw from any contract in the case of obvious errors or inaccuracies regarding the goods appearing on our web site. If an error or inaccuracy is discovered with regards to the advertised price of the goods that you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible by email. This will be to inform you of the correct price of the goods, and to ask you if you wish to continue with the order at the amended price, or to cancel the order altogether. d. The prices payable for goods are as set out in the web site, inclusive of VAT, and any duties and local taxes. Customers ordering for delivery outside of the UK will be responsible for payment of any local taxes payable including VAT, and will be required to pay extra for delivery and clearance where necessary.

Withdrawal By You From The Contract

Refunds If you are an individual and are not buying goods on behalf of a business, there are certain circumstances in which you may withdraw from the contract and these are set out here. This right to withdraw does not apply to business buyers. a. You may withdraw your order for goods at any time up to the end of the fourteenth (14) working day after you have received the goods. You do not need to give RF any reason for withdrawing your order nor will you have to pay any penalty. b. If you have received the goods before you withdraw your order then, you must send them back to the RF contact address at your own cost and risk. c. Once you have notified RF that you are withdrawing your order, any sum debited to RF from your credit card will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order PROVIDED THAT the goods in question are returned by you and received by RF in new condition as they were delivered to you.

Availability Of Goods You Order

If RF has insufficient stock to deliver the goods ordered by you, we will notify you as soon as possible and any sum debited by RF from your credit card will be re-credited to your account and RF will notify you by email at the address given by you in your order form. The refund will be made as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order. RF will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered. PLEASE NOTE: We endeavour to bring our customers the best value we can by running special offers, but please remember stocks are limited at the special offer price, and subject to availability. We update our web site as quickly as we can to minimise disappointment. The process of updating the web site when goods have sold out at campaign price can take a few hours to update. Please note that the price the goods are offered for tender are as displayed in the Shopping Basket. Rest assured your credit card will only be debited as your order or individual items from your order are dispatched.

Delivery Of Goods To You

a. RF will post, or arrange a courier on your behalf for, the goods ordered by you to the person and address you give RF at the time you make your order. The consignee (i.e. the person to whom the consignment is sent) will be the declarant and importer into the country for which the consignment is destined. For non-UK destinations, the consignee will be responsible for both customs clearance and payment of customs duties and local taxes where required. Each item ordered will be treated as a seperate sale and will be shipped and paid for seperately. b. Delivery will be made as soon as possible after your order is accepted and in any event within 30 days of despatch of the order. All delivery times quoted on the web site are estimates only, based on availability, normal processing and delivery companies. c. You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when the goods are dispatched to you from our premises in the UK.

Customs charges

If you are ordering goods for delivery outside of the UK, please note that your consignment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the goods reach the country of destination. Any such charges levied in relation to customs clearance must be borne by you. It is accepted by you that RF has no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance. RF recommend that you check with your local customs officials or post office for more information regarding importation taxes / duties that may be applicable to your on-line order. You will be the importer of record and responsible for any import VAT and duty that may be borne. In addition, any charges for import clearance will be borne by you, the customer. Please note that when shipping goods from UK, cross border shipments may be subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. In respect of all goods dispatched to you to an address outside of UK, you are deemed to be the importer of the goods and must therefore comply with all the laws and regulations of the country into which the goods are being delivered.

Liability

This is as follows:-

a. If the goods RF delivers are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, RF shall have no liability to you unless you notify RF in writing at the RF contact address of the problem within 10 working days of the delivery of goods in question. b. If you do not receive goods ordered by you within 30 days of the date on which they were despatched to you, RF shall have no liability to you unless you notify RF in writing at the RF contact address of the problem within 40 days of the date on which the goods were despatched to you. c. If you notify a problem to RF under this condition, RF's only obligation will be, at its option:- to make good any shortage or non-delivery; to replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective; or to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question to the original method of payment, unless such method is no longer valid in which case RF E-Coupons will be issued to the value of due refund. d. RF will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any problem you notify to RF under this condition and RF shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question under paragraph (c) above. e. Nothing in this condition is, however, intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under applicable local law that may not be excluded nor in any way to exclude or limit RF's liability to you for any death or personal injury resulting from its negligence. Nothing in this contract creates any right which is enforceable by any person who is not a party to the contract.

Force Majeure

RF shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.

Invalidity

If any part of these conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which RF excludes its liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.

Governing Law

The contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with UK law, and the UK courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us.

Entire Agreement

These terms and conditions, together with the current RF Web site prices, delivery details and RF contact details, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of the goods to you by RF. These terms and conditions cannot be varied except in writing signed by a director of RF. In particular nothing said by any sales person on behalf of RF should be understood as a variation of these terms and conditions or as an authorised representation about the nature or quality of any goods offered for sale by RF. RF shall have no liability for any such representation being untrue or misleading.

Interpretation

In these terms and conditions:- 'RF' means RF Shopping, RF UK Limited 473 King Street, Longton, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ST3 1EU, any connected organisation that actually supplies goods ordered by you and any successor to its business; 'working day' means every day of a calendar year apart from weekends and statutory and public holidays; 'us' means RF and you together; and 'you' and 'your' means the person ordering goods under these terms and conditions.
